Beginning...again!

After almost 15 years being out of the regular classroom I have found a home in Kindergarten! I began my career teaching 2nd and 3rd grade, then piloted a technology teaching position in our district that lasted 10 years until it was eliminated due to budget cuts. For the last several years I have taught Title I, Art, and PE all the time hoping to get back into a regular classroom and it finally happened! Last year I taught PE in the morning and kindergarten in the afternoon sharing a room with the morning kindergarten teacher. Now that our district is moving to all day kindergarten I finally have my own classroom again! I can't even begin to express how amazingly helpful all the incredible kindergarten blogs have been in renewing my energy, enthusiasm, and teaching as I began this new adventure in kindergarten. After a year of getting my feet wet in 1/2 day kindergarten and untold hours stalking and pinning all the awesome blogs I could find I am starting my own as a means to improve my own teaching and hopefully be able to share and give back some of the great inspiration I have received over the past year. There is so much to learn about kindergarten and blogging that I feel like every day is a new adventure and I am excited to be here!
